FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've wanted to be a writer ever since the 1st grade, where creating a 10-page picture book meant wearing a cape and reading your work to the class. I've wanted to work for myself since I was 12, when I first began imagining my home office lined with bookshelves and painted in whites, tans and blues. I've wanted to work with coaches, consultants and speakers since my college editorial internship, where I worked with one and was first published.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly write articles, which are used on my clients' blogs, or ebooks, which are sold on their websites or offered at their speaking engagements.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A fast, cheap writer is usually not a good sign. Pay close attention to how a writer markets themselves, how they present themselves online and in communications, and what proof they have to offer of their success. If they don't seem professional, they're probably not.
