Most of my experience is hands on with Rescue dogs whom I have fostered and helped through the German Shepherd Rescue of Central Fl and also K-9 services German Shepherd Rescue of Green Cove Springs, Fl. I have worked in the shelters doing behavior modification, grooming and counseling potential adopters. I had a dominant dog who was displaying aggression toward people and other animals. I was told by trainers he would never get along with another dog or other animals and would need to be locked up when people were visiting. I did not believe that was true. My dog had a wonderful temperament as a puppy and I knew there was something I was doing wrong and I was determined to get through to him and communicate what i wanted..to make that connection and bond with him, which I did. I have seen so many dogs in shelters and most of the time it was for simple behavior problems that could have easily been corrected. I want to help people to correct these problems and I don't give up easily. There is always an answer. I was told by so many trainers to give up my dog and that it was his temperament & he was a liability. I refused to believe them and I would not give up on finding a solution. I did realize I needed to be a responsible dog owner & have control of my dog at all times. At 115 lbs of solid muscle Bearon was a handful. I kept searching for answers with the resources I had. Most of the time the solution is so simple its hard to see it until someone points it out to you. 99.9% of the time..it is not the dog, it's never the dog causing the problems. People are just not sure how to correct them and need direction and solutions. Its not always easy to see what you're doing wrong and it helps to have an outside perspective...someone who does not have an emotional attachment to your dog. I adore all animals and love working with them. My own pets are my family and I would never give up on them. Its a life time commitment. I have never had a dissatisfied client. I have never come across a dog or client I was not able to help. I have over 15 years of experience and knowledge which I pass on to my clients to resolve the issues they are having.
I love helping people resolve behavior problems so they can enjoy their well behaved dog. It takes a great stress away from the home and I can definitely emphasize with most of my clients because I have experienced much of the same.
