- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend a lot of open tastings to get ideas about what people are craving these days. I also watch a variety of cooking shows for new ideas and put my own spin on them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well I've always enjoyed cooking. I cooked my first breakfast when I was 8 years old. Although it wasn't the best at 8, my family supported my vision. As I got older and gained more experience I was always complimented for the way my food tasted. People use to say "this is delicious," "you should open your own restaurant." By the time I was 25, I got into the culinary business with the intention of opening my own restaurant. My catering business is just my stepping stone, my restaurants are my next steps.
