- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
John and Nicole both attend the yearly NACE (National Association for Catering and Events) expo to learn new trends and planning information. They also both stay inspired by reading, gardening, and throwing their own parties!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
For Nicole, planning projects and events has always been a part of her career. With an entrepreneurial mindset since childhood, it was only a matter of time until SB Events was born. For John, design has always been innate to him - he studied interior design and worked to design corporate spaces as a career, while always enjoying event design as a hobby. As long time friends and cousins, John and Nicole each helped each other plan their respective weddings, both held in 2011, and since then, they knew they were destined to work together on Events.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, fundraisers, corporate events and social events. From soup to nuts, we plan, coordinate, negotiate, source unique design materials, and design and execute all types of events and celebrations.
