I took a jewelry repurposing class from Emma and was very happy with the piece I created. Emma brings out the creative side in people. I was skeptical that I would be able to make anything, let alone something I would want to wear from the broken pieces I brought to class. I left with a neckless that I proudly wear every chance I get

I took a jewelry class from Emma. She did a great job in showing us how to take old jewelry that we hadn't used in years into something great and usable. I ended up making two necklaces with earrings to match. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. She gave me the incentive to do more. She truly has a passion for artistry.

I took a chine colle class with Emma at Barrett Art Center and she taught me the basics that I am using nearly seven years later, on my own. I might never have known this type of collage existed, had she not offered the course. Informative and enjoyable!

I took a 3 week porcelain doll-making class with Emma at the community college. She guided us through the steps in the process from start to finish and helped us make perfect little darlings. She also organized the "kiln fairies" to fix our little imperfections as needed :)

I took one of Emma's classes on making jewelry from vintage elements. Emma not only brought with her books and magazines with lots of ideas, she also brought along trays of vintage pieces that we were free to use. With what I brought - and a lot of what she brought - as well as timely advice from her, I fashioned a really cool necklace! I'm a garage sale, flea market scrounger, so now I keep my eye on jewelry pieces that I can incorporate into my necklaces. The class was fun and informative.
