Chris came over to my house because I needed maintenance on my furnace and central air unit. He called me when he was on his way and actually arrived a little bit early. He was so nice, knowledgeable, and professional. He walked me through everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He told me I would have to replace my furnace soon, which is fine as it’s an old unit. He gave me quotes on a new one. I loved his attention to detail and how he didn’t treat me like an idiot when I didn’t know something, but explained it to me instead. I highly recommend recommend United Heating and Air ti anyone. They will certainly be getting more of my business in the future.

United was tier one from start to finish. Cannot thank these guys enough for the dryer vent installation they did for us. We moved our laundry to the 2nd floor and needed it vented outside professionally. Quick to respond & quick to help us out. Beyond fair pricing as well. I would highly recommend using these guys for any laundry install purposes especially if you need it vented outside.

My furnace was not heating up. I originally called my "regular" HVAC company and the soonest they could come out was a week. No way this time of year I was going a week without heat. I have used Thumbtack in the past to find service professionals so I tried TT again. After reading reviews, I selected UHA and one other HVAC company. UHA responded first. They were able to come out the next morning. Chris, the service tech, was polite and courteous and professional. He did a thorough job troubleshooting and resolving the problem within a half hour (or less). He took the time to explain the problem and what he did to resolve it. The cost was very reasonable. UHA will be my new go to for heating and air service.

Rick and his Team were very professional. Initially they were called out to do a routine cleaning of our 19 Year old furnace. Unfortunately it was discovered that our unit was not in the best of shape with internal rust and the blower unit leaking oil. Given the age it made more sense to replace than repair. We were given a quote and the company was out a week later to do the install. So far we are very pleased with the Goodman 96.6%, 80,000 BTU unit we chose and RG&E is offering a $500 incentive right now too. Thank you United Heating & Air, job well done.

Very pleased with the quality of service provided by United Heating.The technician (Chris) who came to our home worked diligently to get our furnace working properly. Eventually it was determined that we needed a new furnace. United Heating worked fast to secure a new furnace for us and scheduled an install date within 2 days. Later that same day, Chris called back and said it could be done the very next day instead!Jake and Rocco did an impeccable and very thorough job of installing our new furnace and Chris completed all the paperwork and on-line registration of our unit to guarantee its warranty and also get us a rebate from RG&E!In summary, United Heating cares about its customers and goes the extra mile to make sure all is well!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
United Heating is very competitive. We don't have to charge much as we do not have a large overhead. We usually always work something out with the customer if they can not afford the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First an introduction, covid precautions are taken. Then the Tech will explain what he's about to do and what he is doing at the time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The state does not require any education for HVAC workers. The best education is time on the job which all of our Tech's have at least 10 years each
