Introduction: I'm a singer myself and understand first-hand what many singers have issues with. Breathing techniques are crucial to supporting your sound. Also, knowing your range is something many singers struggle with. It is my goal, in every session I teach, to address these common concerns and more. I help my students master their gift with honest feedback and professional support.
Music is a universal language. No matter your background, or experience we all know and "feel" great music when we hear it. I enjoy pulling that greatness out of each of my students.

Anissa was my voice trainer before I left NYC for college. I learned so much from her. I've always
loved to sing and no one could stop me from singing all the time, but I wasn't stage ready. Lessons from Anissa
were an essential part of me becoming the kind of singer I happy to be today.
She always stressed the importance of proper breathing, good posture and enunciation and
used exercises to help me work on those things. She was very patient and understanding but she also
helped me get over my fears and push past my comfort zone. She helped me to discover that I had a wider
range than I thought I did. She is an amazing teacher and I used her techniques throughout college
and even taught them to peers in my college choir. I like that she offers one-on-one training and will work
with the styles you are interested (I liked alternative and gospel) in learning but also introduce you to genres
that can enhance your repertoire (ex: I learned Se Tu M'ami and Someone To Watch Over Me). I highly recommend using
Anissa as your voice trainer.

I had the pleasure of getting vocal lessons from Anisa. Anisa is not only passionate about her craft, but she is very knowledgeable - I learned a lot from our lessons. I appreciated her professionalism, as she was always on time and prepared for our sessions. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Anissa has been recommended to me by professional singer to coach my 12y old son during a music competition called the voice kid in France. Anissa is very talented, well organized, planned all the lessons, supportive, professional, keep you updated of the progress with honnest feedback and also went extra miles by learning, understanding and singing French song. Anisa is a great teacher who knows what she's doing! I felt very confortable and relaxed. She will take her time with you and teach you at your own pace. In just one lesson I feel like I have improved tremendously. I Definitely recommend Anisa!

My experience with Anisa was excellent. My daughter met with her today for her very first voice lesson. Anisa was friendly, prepared, and very knowledgeable. She asked my daughter questions and made her feel comfortable. My daughter and I both look forward to her next lesson. I highly recommend her.
