Steve has been renovating my house on a regular basis for the past year and a half. He works alone and has single handedly transformed my old, broken down house that was built in 1957 into a beautiful, new home. He has gone to Lumber Liquidators and picked up wood for the flooring himself and drove it to my house in the back of his van. He has installed new maple wood floors throughout the entire house, and painted every wall. He removed old wallpaper and put new paneling in my basement. He also installed my kitchen countertops. Aside from these large projects, it's the little things that make Steve special. He has put together an office desk, office lamp, office chair, along with my daughter's dresser. When I was having difficulty assembling these items, Steve intervened, and did everything himself. Recently, my lawn mower broke and I was too busy to buy a new one. The grass on my front lawn was getting high. I never said anything to Steve. When I returned home from a bike ride, I came home to see Steve mowing my front lawn with his own mower. He is very trustworthy, as I leave him alone in my house very often for hours. I even leave him alone in my house with my two daughters, ages 10 and 13. This is how much I trust him. Throughout this past year and a half, Steve has become such a wonderful friend that I even invite him over for family parties. He is very inexpensive, and does incredible, meticulous work. He takes his time and pays attention to every detail. He is never late, and always answers me immediately when I text him. I feel extremely lucky to have him. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM !

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
i have 2 pricing methods, first by the job, most customers prefer that especially when giving estimates. Second , hourly, I don't use that as often because it's not concrete, but if I am removing wallpaper I always give it hourly. Some wallpaper is very difficult to take off,
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, introduce myself, go over the details of the project, fill in holes, pick out a paint color from a big paint wheel, assure them all floors and furniture will be covered. I also explain I can do handy things around house, and most love that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Just on the job training, watching and working with seasoned painters , watching videos of the experts.
