My daughter has been riding with Gretta for about 4 1/2 years. She has learned so much! The atmosphere of the barn is great! The kids encourage each other, and respect each other and all the animals there. She gets very upset if we have to miss a lesson. Gretta takes wonderful care of her students and her animals. I would recommend Elliott Stables to anyone!
I'm still a riding student with Lost Fortune Stables. Colleen is great to work with. She has a tremendous background and is calm in her approach to teaching. I look forward to my lesson each week!!!
I have been riding at Kubicki dressage and Eventing for 4 years. I came as a Hunter Jumper and even though the transition was a difficult one, Paula really helped make the tranistion smooth. Ever since I started riding with Paula; I've felt at home and safe from the minute I started and continue to have that feeling. The one thing that really makes me happy as an animal lover is that the safety of all the horses and the riders comes first. The horses are all well groomed and definitely well fed. The people at Kubicki are the best. Everyone is friendly. The training at Kubicki Dressage and Eventing is exceptional. Private one on one lessons allow for the attention to be solely focused on the horse and rider combination. Come ride with us:) The lesson horses Kubicki Dressage and Eventing are fantastic. They are calm but know what there doing and are great expereniced teachers.
My 6 year old girl learned so much and had the time of her life .Bravo To everyone there! !!
I've been to Silver Creek Stables now multiple times and every time is always a great experience! Sandy, the owner, is awesome and always provides excellent trail rides. I would recommend to anyone whether you are a beginner rider or ride frequently.
T&j horse braking and training is the best trainers I've ever been around there nice and friendly and are the best I've seen with the horses and riding lessons they have the true horsemanship that everyone wants to have
I think I have more patience than most people. I just gave a riding lesson to two children, ages 2 and 4, who cried and screamed throughout the entire lesson. I finally managed to distract them so they no longer carried on. I am glad the horse tolerated it well.

I provide private riding instructions. I am a lifelong horseman. My instruction includes Western, English, and showmanship at halter.
I have been riding and showing horses close to my entire life! I was trained and mentored by my older sister, who was a state and national champion and would later become my 4-H adviser. I have tried my hand at all different forms of riding and showing, but my true passion and skill was always through Western pleasure, horsemanship, and showmanship. I was a member of 4-H and competed in the Butler County Fair for over 10 years, winning multiple classes and never placing less than third throughout my career. I competed in both Grand Showman of Showmen as well as Grand Horseman of Horsemen. Some of my other achievements include qualifying and competing at least 6 times at the Ohio State Fair; I won in my age group twice and both times out of over 150 other competitors. I have also qualified and competed in The Quarter Horse Congress as well as numerous national American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) competitions. I have a great understanding of what judges are looking for in a horse as well as the rider. I am also available for any kind of preparation for competitions, including banding, braiding, and tail extensions as well as simple "tricks of the trade," that only come with experience (for horse and rider preparation), riding attire, and pattern and rail work as well as the rider's showmanship, confidence, and appearance expected by judges. Equally as important, is the training and structure of the horse being ridden. I can work with any skills that need to be improved upon using specific exercises to quickly and easily correct any mistakes or imperfections, simultaneously teaching the rider new techniques that can help them throughout their entire career. All of these techniques will help in the evolution of the rider and the horse as individuals and to eventually become a unit when they enter the arena. Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my profile. I love educating riders in something I have such a deep passion for and being able to see them grow and thrive in the arena. As stated in my information, I am willing to travel at most 25-30 miles, and my hours are flexible. Pricing is reasonable but will be discussed based on specific situation and needs of the rider. I hope to hear from some of you very soon!!

While building a foundation of equine safety skills, riding is introduced through ground handling, traditional riding lessons and mounted games. Each experience will review barn management, tack care, bathing and grooming, equine anatomy, equine nutrition and veterinary care. Accepting beginner through advance, riders will be grouped accordingly.
