Van Guitar Instruction Method

Introduction: I spent years learning guitar from anyone anywhere that I could. I went to instructors working out of mom n pop guitar shops, that would charge $20/hr. to teach a song out of a tab book I HAD PURCHASED!! I always thought that was insane! Other instructors would teach proper technique, but then cut me loose, citing "There's nothing more for me to teach you". I always felt that technique should be the first thing learned, and then basic barre chords, followed by songs/tricks/etc! Wouldn't that make more sense? The Van method will assess your level of ability, and devise a personalized practice regiment that's just right for you. Even if you're a beginner, or moderately seasoned, there's always something new to discover! I enjoy doing something for guitar players that wasn't done for me: a hands on explanation of things, rhythmically.
