FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I occasionally take courses in subjects ranging from computer art to business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew what I was going to be from very young. All that I cared about as a child was studying nature and drawing, and that never changed. It's been my focus all of my life. I learned to draw from my Architect father using technical pens, took courses pre-college at Carnegie Mellon University and also Miami University (advanced placement color course) while in high school, then went to Rochester Institute of Technology. I've continued to learn art and biology after college, as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mainly I do spot illustrations, no background, for publications and private usage. In the past I've done artwork for natural history museums, scientists and have sold framed original artwork to private clients.
