We had sustained roof damage due to high winds & hail. I had been patching it up as best as I could but it became obvious that a replacement was going to be necessary. Rick was recommended to me by a friend as an excellent contractor who could give me an honest assessment if an insurance claim was reasonable. I was wary about making a claim if it wasnt going to qualify for full replacement. I am also a die-hard DIY guy that has difficulty letting anyone do work for me. On top of that there was a particular part of the job that I had specific concerns & requirements for. Many contractors get weird if you start getting specific about how you want things done. Needless to say the whole thing made me nervous & I put off making the call for several months. When Rick came out he put me at ease immediately. We took a walk on the roof and I expressed my concerns. When I got specific the response was No Problem. Rick believed that the damage was reasonable for a claim and the insurance adjuster ultimately agreed. When I had questions the responses were fast & on-point. Rick was personally involved throughout the process. The work crew completed the job in 1 day and did excellent work. At one point we found that the regular drip edge was not going to work out. Rick personally resolved the problem and came up with an excellent alternative which worked out perfectly. I am 100% satisfied with the work that was done & meeting Rick & his crew was a pleasure. Overall the biggest problem I had was trying to pick out a shingle color. Too many choices!

They removed gutter guards, cleaned, and caulked leaks. They also did painting on interior of new windows.

I recently had them in a home I am renting and they did the plumbing work incorrectly And it caused water damage throughout the home flooring buckled and ceiling collapsed and I had been trying to reach out to the owner Rick for weeks because the secretary said he’s the only one I can talk to to get their insurance information and I finally I talk to Rick he tells me he is not providing his information because he feels he is not liable , not only are they liable but they were advised to provide the information and they are refusing to. Bottom line is they caused an issue refuse to take responsibility for it and left the renting company to take care of the damages to the home and my personal items are damaged. Just not what you expect from a decent size company very poor service.

Insurance work from storm damage, Rick and his crews have done great job! Rick has gone the extra mile for me on this project do to many additional items that were missed by original adjuster. All work completed looks great and they always make sure to leave your property cleaned up looking good! I would recommend ConstructOhio to all friends and family! Many neighbors have stopped by and asked who did they work on my home and I tell them..They were all very impressed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, every year we, as a company, attend industry training and certifications that will make us better at what we do. Already this year we have been re-certifiec with Certainteed as a "Wizard" installer with their shingle division and a "Master Craftsman" in their siding division. This week, we were invited to be a "Tamko Pro" with the manufacturer, Tamko.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We mostly focus on large exterior projects... roofing, siding, gutters, windows, etc. but never turn down an opportunity to do any other projects as they present themselves.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was selected by a customer on Thumbtack. What started out as some wind damage to the roof on their porch turned into all new siding, a complete new roof and I was able to tear down an existing closed in porch and build them a large, wrap around, roofed over porch. The total project came out beautiful. In fact, it will be featured on our website soon. Go check for the before and after photos.
