- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial roadmapping service costs $299 and includes 6 hours of my time getting to know your situation and giving initial advice on how to solve it. After this I typically charge $60/hour or $2,000 per week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically encourage my customers to start with my $299 "roadmapping" service. Here I would either come out for a site visit or spend a few sessions with you on Skype discussing your problem and starting to brainstorm a possible solution. For some clients this is all they need and after this they can handle the problem themselves. For others I follow up the roadmapping with a proposal for continued work detailing how I would solve the problem.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up next door to Glacier National Park in the Flathead Valley of Montana, which gave me a strong passion and love for the natural environment. I came to a decision that the status quo simply wasn't acceptable after traveling to several third world countries and seeing how, despite all our advancements, we still aren't providing basic human necessities to every person on the planet. I realized that I wouldn't be happy unless I made my life's work providing nutritious food, clean water & energy, sustainable housing, affordable healthcare, and appropriate education to every person on the planet.
