- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote all jobs at an hourly rate. The initial consultation is free, but once I have a good grasp on what you'd like done, I'll give you an estimate of hours that I think it should take to get your project completed. If any additional materials are required, those are billed to you at cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The design process can vary according to the needs of the customer. The process starts with the initial consultation; this is where you tell me about your project, and what you'd like done. From here, I can give you an initial estimate of hours I think it'll take to complete your project. From here, the works starts and can range from ideation, modeling, prototyping, rendering; whatever design services you require. As I complete your project, I'll check in to make sure that I'm on the right track and you can give any feedback or input on the design as it's being done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the internationally-ranked design program at the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Industrial Design.
