Since graduating college, I've been extremely focused on my career and advancing myself in the workplace. While I'm proud of my professional experiences, I found myself starting work early, staying late, and leaving no time in between for workouts and health. I decided 3 months ago, I would change that and have been working out with Joe since. I could not be happier with my results and it has definetely been a decision for the best. Joe programs workouts for me 3x a week, has me boxing 2x a week, and schedules cardio 1x a week. He's even begun programming a meal prep plan that I will start next month. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure his clients reach their physical and mental goals. Even when he's out of town, he arranges for other trainers to step in and monitor workouts. As a former D1 athlete with ample training experience I was reluctant to seek out a personal trainer. While at first, only interested in knowing my body fat percentage, I decided to meet with Kyle to discuss my goals and what I was hoping to accomplish. I was bored with my routine and results. Kyle quickly assessed my capabilities and challenged my previous methods. My goal was to transform body composition while revitalizing my routine. We agreed to a four week trial. Kyle customized a four-week program to include Weights, Cardio, and Nutrition. He also provided useful apps and information regarding nutrition and the management of calories. All of this was available to me in real-time while working out. I followed the program exactly and achieved outstanding results!!! We agreed to another four week cycle. If I disliked a particular lift or needed a change Kyle was able to quickly provide alternatives solutions and modify the program instantly to reach the same desired goals. After I got to know Kyle a bit this process would gradually evolve to the ongoing seamless, interactive program. The results were immediate! I feel great; have more energy; am stronger; all while creating better symmetry and balance. Overall, Kyle was able to provide a tailored, flexible, and interactive coaching experience that greatly helped me to achieve my goals. In the 8 weeks I dropped my body fat percentage from the low 20s to 10%!!!

I went to a personal trainer at a large gym several years ago and had a horrible experience. Since then I've really struggled with an exercise routine. I've done videos, bought an elliptical and did an hour a day on it, ran, etc and saw little to no results. I had given up when a friend recommended Jill. I was skeptical but decided to try it out anyway. I'm so glad I did! I'm in the best shape of my life and I'm only getting better! On top of being stronger than I've ever been, I have so much more energy and I'm not dreading bathing suit season! I'm getting actual PERSONAL training and though she's very tough she never pushes me too hard. I leave the gym tired and sore but looking forward to the next time I get to go. I would go every day if I could! Oh, and she's always on time and very understanding when you need to change your schedule (or accidentally sleep in- yikes!). Not only has Jill changed my life with fitness but she's also been a really great friend. I 100% recommend her to anyone who's looking for a trainer or wants to take their health to the next level!
I was searching for a trainer to come to my home and tried Charlie. From the first visit I knew this was perfect. He is professional, attentive, an expert in his field, and is very attune to what your goals are, limitations, and has introduced me to new exercises and cardio activities I had never tried before. That makes it fun! I have gone to gyms and trained with others but Charlie bringing his equipment to me, guiding me and encouraging me is the best! In one week I felt and saw results. Highly recommend.
Ladies over 50 or who are in the "change of life": Please try a personal trainer. Josh got it through my hard head that we need to strength train. I always thought that cardio was the only important thing to burn calories. But when I noticed that my body was not responding like it used to in my 40's, I was frustrated and thought that menopause was unbeatable. I went to Josh just to see what personal trainers are all about. I learned the importance of strength training - Especially as we age!. Our body's shape can still be changed and re-shaped by strength training. You will notice subtle changes very quickly. Give it a try. Josh is extremely knowledgeable about the body and how our body uses nutrition. It all matters. Don't "give up" because of your age. Exercise and strength train in spite of your age.
I met Erica in May of 2014, and was convinced no one could train me better than my previous trainer. Erica rose to the occasion. After our first training session together, in June 2014, I was sitting in my own puddle of sweat wondering how she knew exactly how to exhaust my muscles, yet make me feel SO strong at the exact same time. Erica's knowledge & education, combined with her enthusiasm for life and compassion for people--makes her an incredible trainer (and friend). She comes from a personal place of a wellbeing overhaul, and she graciously shares her experiences and her expertise with each of her clients! She created very specific goals with me and for me, and helped me meet and exceed them. Since the time I started taking my fitness seriously-- I've lost 108 lbs. (in one year!!) Erica has helped foster an athelete's mentality in me. I am stronger today than ever before, and Erica's role has been completely instrumental in my trek to overall wellbeing. She's a rockstar of a trainer. Anyone would be blessed to get the chance to know her and learn from her. You're worth it! Just keep moving! I have worked out with Amanda in both boot camp and personal training sessions. I always leave with a full body workout that has incorporated both strength training, as well as cardio. The atmosphere is great, as well as Amanda's personality, making going to work out something I look forward to! She always challenges me, which is continuing to make me stronger. She is very knowledgeable and very willing to thoroughly answer any questions I have about diet and exercise. I highly recommend Amanda and Fit4U!

I have been working out with Rachelle in her bootcamp class for over a year now. I have attempted numerous classes over the years and I am beyond grateful I found Rachelle- I not only finally consistently stuck with a class, but actually enjoy working out and am truly disappointed when I have to miss a class! Rachelle has an amazing way about her that keeps you motivated and pushing yourself. Her energy is contagious! My goal was not to lose drastic weight, but to tone up and develop muscle/strength, which is the exact results I achieved. In any exercise program you have to be self-motivated, but it makes a tremendous difference when you have an encouraging instructor who makes working out enjoyable. After years of dealing with "trouble spots," I am finally in a place where I am completely comfortable, confident and happy with my body- thanks to Rachelle! I highly recommend Rachelle in a group setting or one-on-one. She truly cares about each individual and their fitness goals, which is a hard thing to find in a fitness instructor.
Facility is small, not overwhelming. Felt very comfortable. Liked the trainer, Aaron. Pace was perfect. Large variety of machines. Really like no contract and being able to use the cardio machines on days not training at no extra cost. Also liked that it wasn't a "meat market". All ages were there. Never felt rushed but the hour flew by.
I started working out w/ Abbie about 3 years ago. Since my son was born 6 yrs ago I have struggled w/ losing the baby weight. Abbie has helped me lose 20 lbs by helping me stay on track, mixing up weight training, offering diet changes and menus, and upping my cardio. Working and going to school full time does not leave much time or energy to workout. I need my workouts to be enjoyable and take no more than a reasonable amount of time while still accomplishing my goals. I do not have the time or desire to think about what to do in the gym or what muscles to work out on what day and that is where Eric comes in. I do enjoy working out and Eric is able to come up with fun programs that keep me interested. I have done cardio on my own for years but Eric has helped me incorporate strength training as well allowing me to tone my entire body, something I was not getting with cardio alone. I have gained so much knowledge from Eric that when I am not in the gym I can still use all of the knowledge to get a great workout in by doing the motions and exercises Eric has taught me. I feel that having a trainer is not a short-term commitment where you reach your goals and stop but a long time relationship with health and fitness where you gain knowledge that can be used for years. Erics upbeat personality is the perfect match to keep you motivated and moving! I appreciate everything Eric has taught me about physical fitness and nutrition. I recommend him to anyone looking to develop, improve or maintain a physically fit lifestyle!
I have been working with Chris for the past two and a half years, it has been and continues to be an excellent experience. Chris creates unique workouts every session, he motivates with positive feedback and encouragement to reach my goals. The workouts are total fitness workouts, cardio, strength training, core work, stability/balance training, high intensity/low intensity. Some mornings it's focused on one area, other mornings it's a combination of a few or all the areas. Chris even adjusts the workouts as we go along based on how I'm feeling. Along with the excellent physical training, Chris is also an outstanding nutritional coach. If you are looking for at trainer that truly offers total fitness, you have been looking for Chris!
I started going to Lauren about 8 months after I started my first full time job after college. The transition from college to the real world not only meant an 8-5 job but also sitting in a cubicle all day, which lead to weight gain. When basic cardio was no longer cutting it, I decided to make a change and fully commit. Well 8 months later I'm hooked! I've lost 17lbs with Lauren (Ginge), and have achieved so many of my goals with her help by not only teaching me how to lift properly and train, but through nutrition advice and exercises to do outside of our sessions, I continue to see amazing results. Every week I look forward to going to her small group training, not only is it a great workout but it's so much fun! Lauren is extremely motivating and knows how to push you to get you to where you want to be.
Tania has been training me now for about 3 months and it’s been a great experience. She keeps me on track. I am a former Division 1 athlete and I consider myself knowledgeable about training, but she regularly shows me things I didn’t know around cardio, strength, flexibility, injury prevention, or nutrition. She brings science to the workout. And she helps me stay accountable so that when I start to feel a bit lazy I keep moving anyway. Working with her is challenging and fun, and I’m in much better shape than I would be if I didn’t have her.

I've trained with brady for 4 months and I've never felt better. We started working on my cardio and before I started training with him I couldn't go but 20 minutes walking at a leisurely pace without getting winded. I'm now walking up to 3 miles a day, never felt better. Also lost 15 pounds, I love the 30 minute workouts.
After a daunting high-risk pregnancy with twins (including 4 months of bed rest and a post-delivery surgery), I was looking for something that was fun and would help me get back into shape. I started taking Tate's kickboxing class in December 2013. I immediately fell in love! I was pretty weak at first (couldn't even do a sit up!), which was highly discouraging for me (I had always been pretty athletic). Tate helped me push through with lots of encouragement. I completely stepped out of my comfort zone and started Muay Thai personal training in August 2015. Since then, I've never looked back! Coach Tate is phenomenal at what he does. He crafts the perfect training sessions...a nice blend of cardio, core, strength, and drilling appropriate technique; his workouts are tough, yet I always feel a sense of accomplishment when finished. I HIGHLY recommend Coach's boot camp classes, or personal training for those who want to take their fitness and mental toughness to the next level.
TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT.....Katie is so fun & awesome to work out with! Her combination of cardio & strength training with the fun and excitement of learning boxing keeps you interested and excited to come back -- not to mention it is a great stress reliever! I was pretty sedentary and Katie is very patient and encouraging as I work on getting into better shape. I still have a long way to go, but definitely feel better and can do so much more than I could at our first session. She even celebrates my small victories and gives me things to work on between sessions. She is tough and will push you, but is able to tailor workouts to work with people who are just getting back into shape or haven't worked out in a while. On the flip side, she can make the people who are in shape WORK OUT. Plus, how cool is it to train with a boxing champ and learn from her??? Training with Katie is is awesome and if you're looking to work out and have fun, you can't go wrong choosing Katie.
I been working with Trent for a little over a month now and have seen positive results. His approach to working with me during my rehab for broken ribs has enabled me to start improving my cardio as well as provide me with added flexibility. I'm looking foreword to meeting my goals working with Trent. I would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their physical condition.
I've been attending classes at Mike's crossfit gym for a few weeks and I am completely satisfied with what I'm paying for. The workouts are structured in what I consider a classic sense. You start the session with a power lift, usually a multi-joint compound movement, like the deadlift, front squat, or power clean. From there, you move onto the Metcon or WOD, which is usually HIIT inspired. Then youll finish with a skill move, like jump rope or some core work. The workouts are very intense, but the trainers usually modify the workouts to individual abilities. This impressed me for two reasons; one, the trainers do this on the fly, and two, they now seem to know what my capabilities are better than I do. Thats probably the number one reason I decided to join here, trainers know how far to push and when to back off. Its hard to find people who inspire that kind of trust with your health and well-being. Lifts are taught well and in the proper order of... position > form > weight. The trainers are attentive and make corrections when warranted. A good example to give from my own experience would be the deadlift. I was too rigid when lowering the weight and not loading the right muscles as I descended. A slight adjustment of my shoulder position made a night and day difference in my execution. That's the kind of advice you want, those minute details, as you progress to those more complex Olympic lifts. Everyones afraid of injury when you do these kinds of moves, but knowing that someone is paying that close attention to me helps ease that anxiety. The boxing class is fun. It's not your traditional circuit, but I find it effective. Its serves as an excellent cardio session and you have some skill exercises (mitts and heavy bag). However, I feel adding some more skill exercises, like the speed bag and some footwork drills, would really set this class apart from what you might find at McGym down the road. Speaking of McGym, I love the culture of this place. Everybody is there to work. You can scream and grunt, cuss, chalk is in the air, etc. This place is exactly what a gym is supposed to be, in my opinion. If that atmosphere is not for you, then this gym isnt for you. LA fitness or Planet Fitness might serve you better. I love it because I cant function at the gym without knowing someone is working as hard as I am. Otherwise, its awkward and I feel ridiculous. The WODs are creative and programmed fairly well. Im still adjusting to the schedule, but my progress has been swift. In just over a month, my clothes fit better, Im more muscular, and my power is shooting through the roof. Before I started there, I hadnt touched a barbell in almost 3 years and just the other day I put up 270 lbs. on the bench press. I thought that was pretty good progress. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. The price is reasonable and the fitness youll get out of it is priceless.
