I recently moved to the area and was nervous about finding a dog walker to help walk my two reactive pups while I am at work. Kelly has been absolutely wonderful. She is very reliable and my dogs are always happy to see her! My dogs tend to pull on the leash, but Kelly handles them with patience and gives them the exercise they need. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing they're in such good hands. I highly recommend her services!

I'm so grateful I found Kelly! I have two cats and I needed cat care for over a week on fairly short notice. She made time to meet my girls and learn their routine, cared for and fed and pet them while I was gone, sent me the sweetest pictures and report-backs, and made sure I had nothing to worry about during my absence! She is the best and I am relieved to have a reliable person to come look after my cats while I'm away!

We are one of Kelly's first clients - 3 or 4 years ago. You know when all is good if your dog's tail wags when Kelly or Amy arrives. And that tail wags 5 days a week! If Daisy is sleeping they wake her quietly as she is deaf now and she is happy to see them. She leans into them for pets and scratches and loves being around them. Kelly cuts Daisy's nails and is calm and soothing with Daisy so she is not afraid. We have had the best experience these past years and plan to continue to have the best experience for years to come. I highly recommend Around the Block DogWalking and Kelly.

Outstanding care from start to finish. She took wonderful care of my dog, while I was away for a week. He was feeling down, but she went above and beyondeven bringing her own little dog to cheer him up. My pet was shy at first, but she quickly earned his trust and made him feel comfortable. I had complete peace of mind the entire time. I also really appreciate that whenever one of her team members helps, she always arranges a meet-and-greet beforehand so everyone is comfortable and on the same page. I couldnt recommend her more highly!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a base of $30 for a 30-minute dog-walk or drop-in visit.
We charge a base of $60 for a 60-minute dog walk or drop-in visit.
(Add $5 for a second dog on walks. Add $5 for weekends or nights after 6 pm.)
We charge $120 per night for overnight sitting in your home. On the last day, there is no charge if the sitter leaves before noon, and $60 if required to stay later in the day.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial discussion of the client's needs and preferences with Kelly, the owner, we will arrange a meet and greet with the assigned Pet Care Pro. That person will meet at the client's home to get acquainted with the client, the pet(s), and the home. We have an online system and a client portal that handles, scheduling, billing, requests, aftercare report cards, and instructions.
