He's a dj that I would recommend for any occasion. His skills for mixing and recognising what's songs are going to make a party great are extraordinary! He's one of the best DJs I've ever seen and heard. Truly a legendary hall of famer!

A clean well organized space for recording projects. Kopperhead is a great sounding live tracking room with an excellent mic collection. The staff is friendly, efficient and focused but not pushy. They have worked well and not been condescending with some of my people who aren't very experienced but they can keep ahead in the flow of work with the experienced ones. The room photographs great. I was very pleased with the video scenes I shot there. Easy load in and consistently well maintained amenities have been a big help on longer sessions. Every couple of years I need a larger room for tracking but for everything else Kopperhead is my first choice.

Clyde was so thoughtful when it came to playing music we had requested but also mixing in his own picks that really made the reception so much fun. You can tell he is there to make any event truly fun and one to remember. Knowledgable, fun, and knows his music!

My experience was awesome in various ways. Dave knows his stuff! He has a great ear for mixing. He is a great producer, he made my songs REALLY come to life. And plus, he's just an experienced guy that has been around it for a long time which is an awesome thing. Also, Dave and Rachel both are very dear people. Definitely going back sometime! -William (Altitudes)

Chris has made many promotional and testimonial videos for my engineering firm. He is creative, personable, and I really enjoy working with him. He is really good at developing story-lines, making graphics look nice on screen, and coming up with interview questions during filming sessions! He's the whole package!

About

There are two common threads I find in the bands that I enjoy no matter the type of music. Firstly, they play not as separate musicians but as one entity; Every part adding to the emotive tone of the performance. Secondly, their performance has energy and carries weight. I love seeing live music. Whether it's a band rocking out and giving it their all or an intimate heartfelt acoustic performance, it makes you want to be part of it. It's a shared experience. In every recording, I strive to capture that emotional connection and help it come through to the listeners. It should carry them to times and places in other people's lives. Hello. My name is Henri Rapp, and I am a Cleveland recording engineer. Being an audio engineer isn't just a "job" for me. It's an obsession that shows in my craft. Even though I've been recording for nearly a decade, I firmly believe that I will never be done learning. This has taken me to everywhere, from electronics to acoustics and from drums to carpentry. When I'm not in a session, you'd most likely find me wielding a blistering hot soldering iron, building mic preamps or cooking a delicious stir fry. Having this strong foundation, I can draw on, enabling me to use the right approach to capture the aesthetic sound that your music requires.

About

Blockdown Productions' owner and operator, Block, is a force to be reckoned both regionally and nationally. As the chief engineer for a 3D recording studio, he racked up mega hours of in-studio experience with industry heavyweights, such as The Ying Yang Twins, Mike Jones, Young Jeezy, Shady, Aftermath recording artist Stat Quo, and Paul Wall. He has parlayed that into production credits with G-unit, recording artist Tony Yayo, and former Cash Money recording artist B.G. Aside from engineering and production work, Block is also a seasoned veteran of the live music scene, touring as a guitar player for such national acts as Aretha Franklin, and Black Arc and Rykodisk recording artist Slavemaster (hardcore metal) and underground Cleveland punk group Pleasure Void, in addition to guitar and bass performances on several local and national commercials. With versatility encompassing jazz, gospel, R&B, metal, hip hop and rock; a forward-thinking sense of musical nature; and the awesome machine that is Lava Room Recording; Block merits serious consideration as the engineer, producer, and guitarist for your next project if world-class results are your ultimate goal. Current clients include G unit, Murder Inc., Dreamlife Productions (Sean Mcgee and Al Fatz), NBC, Trina, Kool Keith, Gilla House Records, and Spike TV.
