FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Travel price can be calculated from the zip code 44121 to your address.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make the notarization process as simple and stress-free as possible. Here's what you can expect: 1. Initial Contact: Reach out by phone, text, or through Thumbtack with your notarization needs. 2. Quick Intake: I'll ask a few questions about your appointment, including the type of document, the number of signers, the appointment location, whether witnesses are needed, and your preferred date and time. 3. Transparent Quote: I'll provide an upfront estimate based on the travel distance, notarial acts, and any applicable convenience fees, so there are no surprises. 4. Schedule Your Appointment: Once everything is confirmed, we'll schedule a mobile appointment at a location that's convenient for you—whether it's your home, office, hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, or another agreed-upon location. 5. Appointment Day: I'll verify each signer's identity, confirm they are willing and aware of what they're signing, and complete the notarization in accordance with Ohio law. 6. Completion & Payment: After the notarization is complete, I'll collect payment and you'll leave with your completed notarized documents.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed formal notary education and specialized training, including becoming an Ohio commissioned Notary Public, NNA Certified Notary Signing Agent, and Certified Estate Planning Notary Associate. My training includes proper notarization procedures, identity verification, document handling, loan signing practices, and estate planning document awareness. In addition, I bring a healthcare background as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, with experience working in hospitals, senior living communities, and home health settings. This experience has strengthened my ability to work with individuals who may need extra patience, clear communication, and compassionate service, including elderly clients, patients, and families. I continue to stay educated on Ohio notary laws, best practices, and industry standards to provide professional, accurate, and reliable mobile notary services.
