FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first meet with a client we will sit down and talk about specific and attainable goals, and we will lay out a plan to help you reach those goals. Next, I will run you through a pretest which will help me to address any areas of tightness, inactivity and weakness. This pretest is key in order for me to build you a program that is tailored to your specific needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelors degree in exercise science and have been working closely with my trainer since I was 9 years old. Not only do I have 4 years of formal education I have over 10 years of personal experience. I have trained such a wide variety of clientele that I feel extremely prepared to deal with different body types, training goals and injuries.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was first inspired to be a trainer when I was a young athlete in figure skating. My trainer taught me how to listen and learn what my body was telling me. He taught me lifelong lessons in work ethic, strengthening and overall health. With what I have learned I feel in touch with my body and feel knowledgeable on how to combat aches, pains and injury.
