Introduction: I have many years of experience working with kids and adults in both musical and other educational settings. I have a degree in music from Kenyon College and have been playing music for most of my life. I teach primarily guitar lessons (classically trained, can teach rock, folk, etc. as well- the basics are the same across the board), but I also can teach banjo and mandolin. I think the relationship between a student and a teacher is the most important part of successful lessons. If the teacher can't relate to the student's desires as a student, no one is going to make much progress. My priority is making the students proud of the music that they are making!
