I was a union bricklayer for years and have begun working with a master plumber to start a new business endeavor. We feel that these two trades overlap and benefit each other. Being able to remove and rebuild the areas that need water services installed is something most plumbing and brick building companies cannot do as it is usually one or the other. We have now combined the two making it a literal one stop shop. Ryan was great to work with. He communicated well before and during the job. He and Mark did great work on our stone wall. I would definitely hire them again.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will never charge for an estimate. Pricing is always subject to change depending on what the job needs. I also go over everything with customer before I begin to make sure everyone is comfortable with what is going on with the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to walk the job over with the customer. Go over any questions or concerns either of us have. Then just stay in contact while working on the project. Communication is key, I will not surprise a customer with anything, whether it’s pricing or how long the job will take. So communication, transparency and honesty is how I run my jobs.
