Michelle is an exceptional massage therapist. Because of a bad car accident I was in, I have had many massage therapists throughout the years - some great and some not so great. Michelle is not only professional and punctual but she knows the human body better than most massage therapists out there. She is attentive, effective and thorough. If you are looking for someone who will ask you what you need and listen to you, Michelle is a massage therapist you will be happy with.Sep 29, 2019Verified
Massages were purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband. I was looking for someone local who he could continue to work with. He was very pleased with both his sessions and plans to continue with Michelle. She is very professional and personable.Jan 10, 2018Verified

She was exactly the combination I needed, massage therapist with knowledge of movement to bring back my frozen muscles to functioning, i.e. she was responsive to my particular issues, sports medicine for the geriatric set.Aug 3, 2017Verified
Michelle provided me with a perfect therapeutic massage. I had cronic pain that i had for years and i was skeptical that massage can help. Right after i left the massage room i could tell the difference. Now two weeks post i still feel flexible than ever. Thank you Michelle.Jun 7, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Listening to the client's needs is of utmost importance. Making the client feel comfortable and confident that I can provide them with what they need is imperative. A thorough medical history and lifestyle questionnaire is vitally important with new clients. This is the basis where all physical results will follow.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I earned my Master of Science in Sports Science/Coaching-Exercise Physiology. My Bachelor degree is in Athletic Training for Sports Medicine. I completed a Graduate Assistantship with the University of Akron School of Dance and worked side by side with Dr. Joseph Congeni (Team Physician/Medical Director Akron Children's Hospital). I am a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage (900 clinical and classroom hours). I have been working in my field for over 15 years treating a wide array of athletes, patients and clients of all ages. Treatment includes massage therapy and therapeutic exercise for musculoskeletal injuries. As a Licensed Healthcare professional I am required to have Continuing Educational Units every year (national and state) to stay current with new research and practicing techniques.
