Thanks for inquiring about guitar lessons. I will be happy to help you. After many years of teaching the guitar, bass and Ukulele I have the experience needed to successfully teach you how to play. I incorporate techniques that i have found to really work. I have taught hundreds of students to play and I am sure that You too will have great success learning to play the guitar,bass or uke with me. I individualize a personal course of study for each student so we are sure to meet your needs. Anything you wish to study will be integrated into your personal lesson plan. You also get to choose the music that we learn! I can help you learn to write your own music or teach you how to play your favorite songs, or both, the choice is yours. The guitar, bass or uke lessons are just $60 per month of four half hour private lesson. I really enjoy teaching it is not just a job to me. I can also show you how to restring your guitar and how to use your effects or set up your amp to get the best tones. Be sure to check out my reviews as I have many satisfied students. I have been taking lessons from Trent for a month or so now and he is great. I have been playing guitar for almost 19 years and decided to go back and learn theory and enjoy it a ton. He is able to break thoughts down and explain them in a way one can understand. Highly recommended!!

I have been a student of Trent's for just over a year. Here is the scoop: -Well rounded teacher who encourages students to custom fit their lesson -Flexible about working out song tabs thanks to knowledge of multiple genres -Years of experience evident in practical practice advice, understanding of student schedules, pedagogy, and hueristics -Good at both theory and practicum -Very knowledgable about guitar body types, brands, accessories, and amplifiers; an honest and factual approach to teaching novices about these things, i.e he's not a pusher, but a teacher! -Tech savvy! I really like the way he integrates the use of technology into our lessons, using mp3 files, YouTube and other media to facilitate my learning; he even uses software to segregate parts of a downloaded song to get me the part I want! In additon to being a fun and functional teacher. Trent helped me figure out what guitar best suited my needs by recommending the best tool for my musical interests.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The guitar, bass or ukulele lesson cost is just $60 per month of four half hour private lessons. I keep the pricing as reasonable as possible so even students on a tight budget can still afford quality lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will discuss your short and long term goals with you and then design a curriculum to meet those goals. The student has a good bit of input with regard to what and how we learn to play.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played the guitar professionally for over thirty years. I have played in the club circuit as well as in the recording studio. I have played on many types of albums as the featured guitarist. These albums have been sold at the international level. I have also studied music theory at Wright State university and Sinclair while here in the Dayton area.
