Courteous and friendly painters who did a lot of prep work before starting to paint, but for several reasons I would probably choose another painting service in the future. I was given a quote and informed the cost would not go up, and told the paint finish would be eggshell, which was good because I needed something easy to clean and durable. By the end of the job, I ended up paying higher than was quoted (an additional coat of paint was needed for dark walls (I think this could have been identified prior to starting the job), and an area needed to be redone due to visible unevenness (it was known prior to starting there was wallpaper underneath, and I was told it wouldn't be noticeable once completed). In addition, the paint finish was a lower quality than what we discussed when I was given the quote. It was only when I asked why they used flat paint instead of eggshell at end of the job that they explained they chose flat so that imperfections on the wall would be less visible. I should have been told this before they started because I would have explained that I just moved in, have a young child, and need something that would last better than flat paint. Lastly, the painter who redid the bumpy walls, although he was a very pleasant person, was consistently late. Sometimes by a couple of hours. They were all nice and respectful and did great prep work, but because of these issues I doubt I would choose them again.

Details: Home • 4 rooms • Walls • 8 - 10 feet • Repainting - color change • Fair - minor holes and scratches • Homeowner or property manager • No, this is not new construction • No, I will move things out of the way myself
