Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I love being able to help families and couples capture those important moments not just for themselves, but for generations to come as well. Now that we have figured out how to keep photo paper from disintegrating for a good century or so, we can really begin to leave a legacy of images for our future family's families, or is it future family's family's family's families? A very long time. So, the pressure is on. I'll make it my mission to get that one amazing shot that will let your great, great, great grandson know how you looked and lived and loved. That being said, I love a good candid and the photo before the family is properly posed, because there is a certain amount of honesty in the faces of two parents trying to corral three children who just want a juice box and to hold their Hulk action figure at all times, or the quiet romance of two people in love catching each other's eye, and while it may not be the happy grin we were all hoping for, sometimes, a baby cries when she gets her first taste of birthday cake, and that's okay (a story for when she's all grown up). That is my mission: to not only provide wonderful photos of whatever occasion I am attending, but to capture the small moments in between as well.

Gina was awesome...very professional and has a wonderful artistic eye. She captured so many special moments for us; our engagement pictures as well as our Wedding Day events. She posted the images in a very timely manner, too!! Will hire her again should an event present itself. Will referral her to friends and family.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I mostly work with young children (ages 2-7), families, and seniors. We meet in a park for 60 or 90 minutes, and we walk from scene to scene within the park, taking photos. They range from posed to casual photos, depending on the subject's mood and tastes. Clients mostly choose me for my relaxed style and the fact they'll get plenty of time to capture what they need.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure to check their photo galleries, and make sure they have a lot of varied work. Make sure their photos are in focus, because if it looks blurry online, your photos might not be good enough for print. Also, if you're having a child photographed, make sure they have experience with children! Too many parents have told me about how photographers complain about their 2 year old not being able to "sit still" for photos (like some kind of toddler or something, the nerve!). It's one thing to be able to photograph the perfect posing diva, another to capture that moment in between them grabbing handfuls of grass and running full tilt across a field!
