- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mobile notary pricing is based on a travel fee plus a per-document notarization fee. The travel fee covers the convenience of coming directly to your location, starting at $45, the travel fee typically increases in $20 increments based on where you are located. Notarization fees are $5 per notarized signature/document, in accordance with Ohio notary guidelines. Final pricing may vary depending on distance, number of documents, appointment time, and any special circumstances such as hospital visits, after-hours appointments, or urgent same-day requests. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make the notarization process simple and stress-free. When a new customer reaches out, there are a few key details needed, such as the type of document, number of signatures needing notarization, location, and preferred appointment time. I then provide clear pricing and scheduling options. Before the appointment, I’ll let you know exactly what to have ready — including valid identification. I travel to your home, office, hospital, assisted living facility, or agreed meeting location. During the appointment, I verify identification, witness signatures if required, complete the notarization, and ensure everything is properly executed. My focus is on being professional, efficient, and making the experience comfortable from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a commissioned Ohio Notary Public and a certified Loan Signing Agent, trained to properly handle a wide range of notarizations and real estate signing documents. My training includes identity verification procedures, notarial law compliance, loan document execution, and best practices for secure and accurate signings. In addition to my notary certification, I bring extensive professional experience in business operations, administration, and client services, which allows me to manage appointments efficiently while ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout the process.
