- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting prices are listed. There are times that pricing may vary but it is all discussed before we move on to tax preparation. I offer discounts for referrals and multiple services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We complete an initial consultation, we agree on a price, documents are sent through a secure portal, 50% deposit is made in order for me to begin tax preparation, taxes are prepared, an review of the taxes between myself and the client is completed via phone, email, or zoom, the final 50% payment is made, and taxes are E-File or mailed with tracking.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a background in accounting and after a few years of paying H&R Block $600-$700 every year to prepare a simple tax return I decided to learn more for myself. I started by helping family & friends then expanded to helping extended family and referrals. I’ve appreciate having the skill set to help others and save them money by not going to the large chain tax preparation companies. I enjoy getting to know clients and their families! I am able to see their families, careers, and businesses grow year after year. They all know I am only a phone call, email, and/or text away!
