What I valued the most was the quality of his work. It is very hard to find contractors that are affordable, trustworthy and hard working. He performed so well that I had come back and to do concrete work in my backyard. I believe the best recommendation is when you refer him to your family and friends for their contracting needs as which I have done numerous times.

It says I can only pick three items but he fit the bill for all 5. He was also punctual and responsive. He snaked my water lines, fixed everything that was broken, and poured new concrete - and every bit of it was done flawlessly. You can tell he takes real pride in his work.
Not only is he incredibly skilled and prepared with all the right tools, but he's also one of the most professional and genuinely kind contractors I've met. He was friendly, respectful, and easy to communicate with. By the end of the job, I honestly felt like I had almost made a friend.
I will not be calling anyone else. If you need work done, this is your guy. Highly, highly recommend.

We hired Gil with Unikorn Excavation & Sewer to extend our patio by about 15’ x 15’, and the results are outstanding. Matching our existing patio finish was really important to us, and he absolutely nailed it. The extension blends in seamlessly — you truly cannot tell where the original patio ends and the new section begins.
Gil was professional from start to finish. He communicated clearly, showed up when he said he would, and explained the process so we felt confident every step of the way. The grading and prep work were done properly, and you can tell he takes pride in doing things the right way instead of cutting corners.
His pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work delivered. The job site was kept clean, and the project was completed on schedule. We would absolutely hire him again and highly recommend Unikorn Excavation & Sewer to anyone looking for patio, concrete, or excavation work.

I am happy I went with Unikorn. Gil took my call and made it a point to come the same day. He walked the property and was able to pinpoint the location. The excavation went great and the line was run to get me back up and running. I thought it would be a total mess but the yard and basement are surprisingly clean.

Unikorn Excavation did an amazing job!!! Gil the owner did a great job explaining the issue we had and gave us different options to get it taken care of...
