We had a great experience with Mullins Fine Line. We had the entire upstairs of our house painted. They were easy to work with, reasonably priced and did a great job with the painting. Jeremy and his team did a great job that included removing stubborn wallpaper, patching up many nail holes in the wall, and painting. Jeremy noticed things that we didn't even see and did not complete the job until both we and he were satisfied. We selected Mullins Fine Line Painting LLC to paint and repair a few areas of the walls of our recently purchased 1953 home. We chose Mullins based on the work they said they would do, reviews, they have their own crew who are mostly family members, and the cost. We were very happy with the service they provided, and very comfortable with them in our home. Not only did they complete the work they committed to, they did much more preparation work than they were asked to do. A more detailed review follows. We would call on Mullins Fine Line Painting LLC again. We were very happy with Mullins Fine Line Painting LLC. We had painted since moving in but were unhappy with our ability to do the level of prep work that was needed, as well as our color choice. Jeremy arrived to quote the job and immediately saw what we were talking about. He looked at what we wanted painted and the few areas of corrective plastering we wanted done. He was fine with that. As we looked more thoroughly at the job, he volunteered to have the crew do much more plastering and caulking than what we were asking. Their quote was great, and the crew were all family and people who had worked with them in one way or another for years. After receiving a few quotes, we chose Mullins. They were able to schedule quickly. They arrived on the day agreed to complete prep work. We had trouble with the paint drying due to weather. Painting continued for the next two days, but the paint did not cover as planned. Without us mentioning it, they said it would need a third coat and they would be back the next day. All along they continued to repair problems with the walls, and before departing they fixed mistakes we had made when painting the ceiling. Everything they did was done happily. When we asked or pointed out something the crew received these openly and addressed what was pointed out, but they actually reviewed their work much more critically than we did. Canceled quote walkthrough twice. With two little kids, had to move schedules around. Very frustrating when you have a packed schedule. **Update I winded up giving Mullins Fine Line Painting LLC a second chance based on the owner reaching out, apologizing and offering me a discount for the trouble. I appreciated the fact he had a lot going on and wanted to definitely offer up a "redo". Owner came out for a quote and was on time. Conducted a walk through for 45 minutes. Provided a quote and we went back and forth a bit, and agreed on a price. Scheduled the painting to be complete on 12/19/18 @ 9:00am. Owner texted me the morning of that he'd be late and would be there at 9:30am. This was frustrating, but I understood. Conducted a walkthrough with his painters at 9:30am. Lots of confusing looks from the painters. They seemed to not be on the same page. Crew and owner went outside for 10-15 minutes. I went to check on what was going on. Owner communicated we had an issue, that he under-quoted me and that the price would be more. I asked how much, and he didn't have an answer. At this point, I have spent precious time investing in this company. We also wanted to get this complete before the holidays as we are having family over. I decided to just end the consumer / business relationship. Owner didn't seem to communicate expectations with his employees. Owner seems disorganized. From a customer experience perspective - this was a top 5 worst experiences we've had. Owner seems like a nice guy - but again, very disorganized and let us down.
