Introduction: Sadie has been teaching private and group piano lessons to students of all ages for over eight years. An enthusiastic supporter of the arts, she attempts to cater to each student's style preferences while providing them with a solid foundation in technique and a thorough understanding of music theory and sight-reading.
Sadie strives to provide the following for each student:
1. A fun, friendly, caring, and relaxed environment conducive to learning
2. Encouragement to make the appreciation of music a lifelong pursuit
3. Practical instruction concerning the mechanics of music and musical notation
4. Guidance and advice concerning practice habits and discipline
5. Opportunities for public performances, if desired
In addition to her traveling studio, Sadie has taught at the Minerva Music Center, assisted in teaching group piano classes Trinity United Church of Christ, and is currently on staff at Hudson School of Music, Fairlawn School of Music, and Sempre Piano School in Canton where she leads both private lessons and group classes. A strong sight-reader and well-versed in classical, theatre, pop, improvisatory, and sacred genres, Sadie is a much sought-after accompanist and has extensive experience as a choral pianist.
Sadie currently serves as the Director of Music for Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield. Having recently earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, Sadie is continuing her studies by pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Kent State University.
