- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary depending on the type of event, how big the event is, and how involved you want/need me to be. Depending on how far away the event is, there can be a travel fee involved as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first meeting, I like to get to know them a little better. Then, I find out their vision for the event. After that, I go home & start planning & getting ideas moving. I send my clients updates & ideas often so that I know I'm on the right track. I never make a decision about anything without clearing it with the client. This is their event, I'm just here to help.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't be afraid to shop around. Talk to planners face to face at least for the initial consultation. It will help you get a feel for their personality. It is much more important that your personalities mesh well together than how much it will cost. That's what will make it a truly great event!
