Didn't show up for the first appointment. I called and got some lame story about how his phone screen was cracked and how the damage took all of the customer contacts and communications with it. Who doesn't back up their information in this day and age?
I asked to come out TODAY and cut the grass and once more in ten days. He said that there is a three visit minimum to which I replied, "I did contract with you for three visits and you didn't show up." Donnie then said he'd "work with me" but he still wanted to charge me for three visits when I only wanted two. "I'll have to double-cut it" was his excuse. Not my problem. You missed the first appointment.
Good customer service would dictate that he should apologize for now showing up and then coming over and cutting the grass. No, he tried to screw me by charging full price and only delivering 2/3 of the goods.
I cancelled the deal and promptly got a competitor who'll come out tomorrow.
Too bad, as I was considering having a company do my grass cutting permanently. I just don't want to do it anymore.
