- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All jobs have to be seen in person. There are too many factors involved in this line of work, from fences to powerlines, to be determined from pictures or verbal descriptions. It is almost impossible to be fair to both ourselves and you unless we are standing in front of the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The owner has been doing this line of work since he was a child. The problem-solving nature of the owrk and getting to work outdoors are also perks. In addition, we cannot lie, big trucks and chainsaws are pretty nice too.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask for insurance verification. A printed certificate produced immediately is not verification. Everyone has heard horror stories associated with uninsured contractors, and sadly some of these are true. We refer all inquires to our insurance agent, and she will mail documentation directly to you.
