The Handyman Service, LLC
About this pro
Jay did a great job replacing my deck. The quality of work was fantastic. I highly recommend his services, and would use him again.May 7, 2018Verified
The work was explained fully and, once begun, done quickly. The result is actually a little better than we expected in terms of appearance. We're considering Jay for other jobs at our home and at property in the city owned by my wife and her sister.Mar 24, 2018Verified
Jay is just starting the project. So I can only comment on his Professionalism and Responsiveness thus far!Mar 17, 2018Verified
Treat customers with respect. Insulting customers is not good serviceJul 14, 2017Jay G.'s reply
I do not know who this person is but I feel compelled to respond. I would never insult a customer, disrespect a customer or their home. It is unlikely that I would stay in business for almost 40 years if I did. Had this individual communicated with me, I'm sure they would have realized that my intentions were honorable.
Excellence All Around. Tru Pro and very reasonable. Great Job.May 19, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The Handyman jobs are always itemized to include labor plus materials, so you know exactly what you are paying for. The larger jobs include a break down of labor and materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always try to get to know the people I work with. Getting to know my customers helps me to get a clearer understanding of the scope of work they want. It also helps to build trust and develop long - term relationships.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I worked with custom builders and experienced craftsmen for over thirty years. I am constantly perusing continuing education and certifications.
