Introduction: We only cater small dinner and cocktail parties in peoples homes which enables us to personalize each event to the client's needs and wants. By prepping and cooking the food right in the client's home, we put on a culinary "show and tell" for a bit of entertainment. As well as being a Chef, I am a former actor and love to put on a show, only now, instead of performing on a stage, I do it in your kitchen. If you like my food, applause is always appreciated.

We were treated to a dinner by Chef Ken (The Wandering Chef) as a gift and had no idea what to expect. Chef stopped by a couple weeks before our dinner to meet us, check out our kitchen, and explain the menu. Our meal was Italian fare five tasting items and dessert. To elaborate on the food, it was nicely presented from salad to dessert. More importantly, it was great. We both thoroughly enjoyed every course, with the Scaloppini and Saltimbocca each dubbed best by one of us. The lasagna deserves mention, too, as it was unique and flavorful. The samples were plentiful and we were full at the end of the meal. Chef Ken was friendly and we enjoyed talking with him during the meal, even though he offered to remain in the background if we wished. To summarize, the whole experience was delicious and fun. We recommend The Wandering Chef and plan to engage Chef Ken again with others in our family. Thanks!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my pricing is customized to the specific affair. I meet with you in your home and discuss how many people the affair will be for, the type of food that you want, if I will need extra labor and the kind of service that you want (buffet or plated). I then put together a menu and do market pricing at the time I do the menu.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a young actor who found himself very often "temporarily in-between engagements" (i.e. out of work) and had developed an allergic reaction to starvation, so I had to make a living. Turned out that I liked my new direction.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Dinner parties, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, holiday family get-togethers, football parties.
