- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts by determining the clients needs and goals, including determining if they are looking to buy, sell or both. If the client intends to purchase a new home one of our first steps will be to assist them in obtaining a preapproval letter and determining how much home they can afford. Next steps would include identifying what it is they are looking for in a home including a wants / needs analysis. From there we would get the client setup on a custom search and share any pocket / coming soon and other off market listings which may be of interest to them. From there we assist clients identifying communities and homes that best match the client's criteria and those which are likely to offer the highest rate of return in the coming years. Once we identify the right home we will then work to assist our client in obtaining the home for the best terms possible. We further assist our clients in coordinating their transactions including, financing, inspections, appraisals, title services, etc. If issues are identified during the home inspection we will call upon on contractors to gather additional information to determine how significant the issue is and what it will cost to remedy the problem. Our goal throughout the process is to help you make the best decisions possible and to save you money every step of the way! For sellers, we start by gathering information on not only their home and what improvements they may have made to the property but also their proposed timing. Unlike most agents who simply seek to offer pricing guidance and assist the homeowner in determining the market value of their home, we seek to take this a step further by advising our clients on what steps they can take to enhance their homes value further, specifically those which will offer the highest return on investment. We will then assist the client by proposing a pricing and marketing strategy to maximize their home's sale price. Selling in home in today's market requires much more than an ad in the newspaper and a sign in the front yard and our premium marketing plan provides maximum exposure to the market place that results in the highest price in the shortest time possible! Just as with our buyer, our goal with our sellers Is to utilize our knowledge and expertise to help you make the best decisions possible and to save you money through each step of the home sale process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended The Ohio State University where I double majored in Marketing and Finance. I then attend Hondros where I obtained my real estate training before obtaining my Ohio Real Estate License. In the 14 years since receiving my license I have worked for and received training with some of the world's top real estate brokerages including: Better Homes and Gardens, Coldwell Banker King Thompson, and HER.
