Rodney did an awesome job for us! He had to start from the beginning to install our first dishwasher. He did plumbing, electrical and tore out a cabinet which had granite countertops. Very professional, talked with us as the installation was progressing. We cant wait to have him for our next home project!
I have hired Scott for several projects- retaining wall, deck work, flooring, roof replacement and all have been completed with quality and a high level of professionalism. I will continue to work with Scott on all future projects. I have also referred him out to several other clients and neighbors.. All have been satisfied. Highly recommend.
Chad came to our rescue during our kitchen remodel/update. We did a lot of work as homeowners but we realized we were in over our head and fatigued. He answered my thumbtack and came over immediately to give me a quote. He started the next day and cleaned up some of our work and laid our ceramic tile. He even fixed our plumbing. He did such a great job and was friendly with us and our dog. We recommend him highly.
Stuart Smith Marble Restoration, successfully restored my granite countertop to its original brilliance. He did an amazing job, on a counter top I didn't believe could be restored. He removed all the chips, scratches, and dullness. It looks positively beautiful! I'm thrilled it looks so good........ I would highly recommend Stuart Smith Marble for any restoration project!
Install mail box and fix brick work. Contractor was very prompt and reasonable.
Jason did a wonderful job for me. He helped me not only with tiling the kitchen but also aided me with a variety of projects in order get my house on the market. He was very good at communicating with me and took extra time to make sure the job was done right. I would highly recommend him and I plan to use him again.
My basement floor, size approximately 435 sq. ft., needed leveled. The floor height varied up to five and six inches toward the center. It sloped downward toward the drain in the front and back upward toward the front wall. The floor was painted concrete from at least 50 years ago, and in a few spots the concrete was slightly chipped and cracked. The rear of the basement had a slight slope but was not as drastic as the front part. I had cement contractors suggesting to break up only the front half of the existing concrete and pour new concrete. I also had another flooring contractor willing to pour the leveling compound Ardex. Cost for the Ardex job would have been $3,200, but that was for using only twenty-five 50# bags of Ardex. If I needed any more bags of Ardex, I would have to assume the cost after the first 25 bags at a cost of $60.00 per bag. I was very reluctant to do this. I found Bamm Flooring and Construction with a very good rating and called them. Tony Georgevich said he could use Quikrete Concrete Mix for leveling, as long as I covered the finished floor with either slate, ceramic or porcelain tile. Tony, Adrian and Ray did an excellent job. They worked for about two weeks from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The floor still had some unevenness. However, it was 95% improved. They ended up using over 117 bags of 60# Quikrete @ $2.78/bag. I was so glad I did not use the Ardex product. After this leveling was complete, they laid the tile. This floor required 30 cartons of Brazilian Slate Porcelain. My basement floor is such an improvement that I actually love working in it now. Tony is a perfectionist and you can tell he is proud of his work. I would recommend this company for any flooring job, regardless of the difficulty. After they finished the floor, I asked if Adrian could help me unclog my gutters and insert gutter guards, which he did. Overall, I am very happy with the job that these guys did and would call on them again for flooring or other household projects.
My husband and I have used J&J for two big interior projects. We had custom wainscoting installed and painted in a large area. The work far exceeded our expectations and we were so thrilled that it encouraged us to use Justin's talented carpentry on a major renovation of our living room. This included fabrication and installation of a coffered ceiling, built in floor to ceiling book case, and transformation of existing tv cabinet into functional dry bar. Probably one of the best things about working with Justin is the vision he has for a project. In both projects, we had an idea of what we wanted, but no designs available or specific thoughts how to make it work. This was probably for the best, because the design that he came up with, the way he made things work truly speak to his talent as a carpenter. We could not be happier with any aspect of his work. From start to finish: 1. He was prompt in meeting with us and getting a fair quote 2. Started the project when stated 3. We both felt very comfortable having him and his partner in our home 4. Clean! We've never experienced anyone so considerate both during and after work. They treated our home like it was their own 5. The thing that really sold us was his attention to detail and perfection. He cared how things would look just as much as we did. We threw a couple of new ideas at him during the construction and he was more than welcome to the ideas and made them work. We are so happy with everything, we have plans to use J&J for a number of projects that previously we probably wouldn't have even bothered with. If you are looking for professional but approachable work, you really can't go wrong with J&J. We recommend them as highly as possible. We feel so lucky to have found "our guy".
We had a small job....needed a hole drilled in our granite counter-top for an RO faucet. Peter responded quickly to our request, scheduled an appointment, and had the job completed within 48 hours of the inquiry submission. Peter is extremely professional and friendly. We would not hesitate to contact him again if the need arises, and will refer him to others. Thank you, Peter!
They put a new fireplace mantle and faux stone wall in my living room. They are true professionals and I was amazed at there fine work. Would have them do any work for me in the future. No question about it
I had some trouble with stucco on our home: Vance construction were one of the very few contractors that were certified to make the repairs. I contacted Joe Vance by phone and we made arrangements for him to give me a bid the following week. Joe and his crew were prompt, he kept me appraised of any possible problems and on the status of the repairs. Joe and his crew showed up when they said they would be here. Their work ethic was outstanding, they were very proffessional, and the quality of work was excellent. Joe and his crew always had proper tools on site and except for taking a brief lunch the crew was constantly in motion. I would and have recommended Vance Construction to friends and family. I trust Joe and his crew and in todays world that is not an easy thing to attest.
I had my kitchen remodeled (new floor, granite countertops, custom built island w/storage, backsplash, paint, new sink / faucet, etc) as well as porcelain and glass flooring in my foyer and laminate flooring in my family room (with granite around the fireplace and mantel). Dave Ritchie and his crews - electricians, painters, carpenter/cabinet maker, flooring people were so professional and qualified. The project came in ON TIME and BUDGET! In addition, Dave Ritchie and his contractors were so creative in all the recommendations that were give to me. I LOVE everything! I wouldn't hesitate to hire The Home Works for any future needs.
