When I met Dav in April 2017, I was barely working out. He was instrumental in jumpstarting my fitness journey and I continue to look to him as an inspiration. Whether I was working out in one of Dav's classes or in a personal session with him, he always kept the workouts fun and productive. My sessions with him were always different and challenging; he taught me a variety of calisthenics, weight lifting, and even some boxing. I quickly saw results with Dav; I lost the weight I was working so hard to get rid of and gained toned muscles all over. Along with his passion for fitness and helping people, I have to say that he is just a great guy to be around. I highly recommend Immaculate Conditioning.
I hired Ryan as my trainer just a few months before my wedding with the hopes that I could get in the best possible shape for my big day. When I came to Ryan I was running (but very inconsistently) and he did a great job of helping me to realize that the 2 or so half hour runs a week I was doing just weren't adding up to enough exercise. My arm strength is naturally very weak -- and as a result I've always shied away from strength training. (Who wants to look like a wuss at the gym?) Ryan helped me to realize the error of my ways. While I am never going to be a power- lifting champ the modified weight training that Ryan worked with me on included everything from kettlebells, to free weights, to weight machines, and body weight and resistance band exercises. The wide varieties of techniques and exercises he taught me helped to keep my workouts interesting and challenging. After a few months of training with Ryan I was wedding-ready! I had learned a wide variety of resistance training, lost 7 pounds, gained muscle, and I was running faster than I had in years. My wedding photos came out great and most importantly I felt better than I had in years! While Ryan's knowledge and techniques are excellent. I think the most important thing he offered was great coaching. He was great at offering encouragement and holding me accountable. (Sometimes I can be a little whiny and make some excuses when it comes to exercise.) While I've moved 6 hours away from the Akron area, I'm still using what Ryan taught me to improve my workouts and general fitness. I would highly recommend him as a trainer.
I really had a fun experience at Live Fit. It is a private gym that that focuses on 1-on-1 training. From the get-go I was given a customized workout program that was tailored to me needs. I was given the attention and motivation that I needed each day I was there. Customer service was phenomenal and the staff was able to help me get results and lean out. Over 6 months I lost 18 pounds and 6 inches.
I've been training with Jason for 2 years. I came to him having gained 10 lbs in my new job and I needed help badly. I have since lost the 10 lbs and a bit more, lost 10% body fat and added muscle. I am back to my natural body weight. I work out 3 days a week with Jason and add 2-3 days per week more of cardio. The great thing is that as I have gotten older and more prone to aches and pains, Jason has designed routines that get results but that don't injure me. The gym is small, quiet and comfortable. The attention is personal. I have highly recommended Rev Fitness and Therapy to several of my friends and co-workers and they love it too.
Lynn has done a great job showing me how to work my body through Cardio intervals, Strength training and Core exercises. I have her come to my home 3x a week to keep me on track to lose the extra weight and get me back on a track with my fitness. Its still a work in progress and Lynn has been very informative.
Christina Adler is outstanding. She not only understands different skill levels and limitations of clients, but also the kind of workouts each skill level requires. Christina has expertise in isolated and complex body movements and lifts. She understands how to partition and design workouts that flow effectively so clients see maximum gains in an hour or less of training time. Christina specializes in weight loss, strength and conditioning, and high intensity interval training (HIIT) amongst others. Her passion and dedication to her clients (rather than a "job") makes her retain and carry clients with her longer than most personal trainers. Christina practices what she preaches and makes sure to communicate that with her clients. She leads by example has has competed many times in bodybuilding successfully.
Awesome workout coach at PLX Fit Club! Motivating and encouraging! Would highly recommend taking her classes. Took a 6-week challenge class that energized me and gave me great ideas for home. Great place to get in shape and have people surround and encourage you in your fitness journey.

I've been training with Josh for just under 5 years now. He helped me lose 60-70lbs (& approx 20% BF) in my first 9 months; and after a couple injuries in the last year and a half (not gym related), he's helping me regain what I lost. More importantly, he's helped me find my voice and my confidence. From day one, he's always believed that I am capable of far more than I ever dreamed I could achieve. And whatever goal I set, he will be there to help me achieve it. So far, I've completed multiple 5ks, a few half marathons, two full marathons, three triathlons, a couple warrior dashes, etc. Josh genuinely cares & believes in his clients, he is professional, and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I have been training with Joel for about 6 months now. He has helped me to improve my MMA and self-defensive techniques. He is working with me on my striking, kicking, boxing, and takedowns. I am impressed with his enthusiastic passion for the sport and martial arts, and his willingness to work at the pace that I need and his patience with giving me the extra time when needed. Joel is always on time and is very flexible with scheduling the days and times that do not interfere with my school and work schedule. The quality of Joel's teaching, techniques, and professionalism is very good. Overall, my experience is positive and there is nothing that I would recommend he changes.
I've been working with Toby for the past nine months. When I started back in March, I didn't have much real expectations and Toby was very honest given my weight and fitness level. After we had finished my Intro session. Toby saw my strengths and weakness, which he then began crafting a personalized training to cater to my needs. Everyday is a new victory, the days I want to quit Toby has pushed me noting to quitting. The days I'm struggling with something, Toby helps scale it down. I absolutely loved working with Amanda!! I lost 2.5 inches off my waist in 12 sessions! She worked around my crazy schedule (5 a.m. workouts) and was very knowledgable!! She always wears a huge smile that's contagious!! I highly recommend Amanda!! She's great!!!
Drink the Kool-aid! It may be one of the best decisions you'll make... ever. You need to make your body, health, fitness, and overall happiness a priority and this is the place to do it. The coaches will teach you how to eat for long term health, move better for an enhanced life outside of the gym and to be the best "you" there is! I absolutely love Crossfit Intent and call it my second home. If you think Crossfit isn't for you, I challenge you to go in an meet the Coaches and give it a try. There are plenty of people who said the same thing, ready and willing to welcome you, cheer you on, and enjoy working out together.
Allen Starkey is an incredible personal trainer. Personally I consider myself a fitness junky but even fitness junkies can learn more and that's exactly what Allen Starkey helped me achieve. He has taught me multiple different workout techniques and strategies that have forced me to use muscles I didn't even know I had. He tailors each work out specifically to what his client is looking for and he is a wealth of information on all things body, fitness & health. His passion for his profession clearly shows because he is so eger to teach and inform his clients on what they can do to better themselves and he pushes you to your limit. Give him a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.. I know I wasn't.
I met Aaron at my gym as he overheard me one day discussing my struggles with my workouts. He suggested I train with him and offered me a program that fit my needs. Aaron is a phenomenal trainer. His knowledge in the fitness field is endless. Every 4 weeks or so he changed up my workout plan. I only trained with Aaron once a week but he checked in on me on a regular basis. This was key for me as I am not exactly a self-motivated person. Knowing he was always available to answer any questions I had was key to me as well. I see other trainers do the same workouts over and over again. Aaron always brought something new to the table. Some days we would box or work on agility and others we would simply weight train but it was ALWAYS a killer workout. I built a bond and a friendship with Aaron and I really believe he cares about his clients. Aaron is a top-notch trainer! Kind, caring, and compassionate. I promise you your workouts with Aaron will never be boring!

Although I box regularly, I began working with Laura in May of 2017 to increase my strength training. I realized after observing non-atttentive trainers that I was getting better individualized attention with Laura. I like that she has strong communication skills. She demonstrates proper technique and ensures that I’m doing things correctly. Laura is committed to my sessions by being prepared and not just going through the motions with me. If I pose a question that is out of her scope, Laura researches and finds the answer for me through her network. Since May, my eating habits, self confidence and muscle strength have all improved. I’m proud of the fact that at my age, I’m pushing/pulling sleds, lifting more weight than I thought possible, and getting through high intensity interval training portions of the workout. Laura’s coaching style embraces encouragement, support, and inspiration.
Working with Michael has been a wonderful experience. He provides you with a total body workout; strength training, cardio and boxing techniques. He has transfomed by body in a way that I never could have imagined. The results that you get from his personal training are phenomenal. Boxing is a total body workout. While getting in shape, you will learn how to defend yourself. You will have a better understanding why/how pro boxers can do and go all those rounds. This is great for cardio, body tuning and strength. You will learn how to hit (in the gym) a speed bag, heavy bag, double-end bag, etc.
