Introduction: We will preform the wedding YOU want. Your ceremony should speak to your love and your lives together. You can choose what is included in the ceremony. We will work with you to write the ceremony and vows you feel will start your life as a couple in the best possible way. We perform weddings for everyone, love is love and its wonderful! To be clear, we love working with EVERYONE and that includes EVERYONE in the LGBTQI+. If you are or want groups/weddings/commitments and renewals between loving adults please consider us. We will be happy to give you the ceremony you want! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If your wedding is a 30 minute drive or more from the Toledo OH area we will charge $50.00 travel cost (it will be more for an hour +travel) per trip. We consider ourselves so lucky to be part of one of the happiest days in a couples life! We enjoy getting to play a part in allowing couples to have the wedding of their dreams. We require a non refundable deposit to hold the date and time for your wedding. But because a couples wedding day IS so important please know that we will charge $100 fee if your wedding starts more than 30 minutes past the booked time unless there is a pre agreement with your officiant that there needs to be some flexibility in the schedule. We have to think about our other couples wedding day as well as yours. If the delay is over 30 minutes it will be 100.00 per 30 minutes up to 1.5 hours. If the officiant is still available the fee will increase to 300.00. After 1.5 hours we will leave but we will expect payment in full. If you cancel your wedding within 48 hours full payment for the wedding ceremony will be billed and no refund will be issued. If YOU cancel your wedding for any reason after full payment was made no refund will be considered or issued. Whether you want a more formal or traditional ceremony or an unique celebration we are truly excited and happy to be a part of your special day.

My husband and I really enjoyed having precious pronouncements perform our wedding ceremony! As soon as we met her we had an instant connection! There are only a few good people outing this world nowadays and she is definitely one of them! We would recommend her to anyone who needed an officiant. She was very personable, had alot of goody energy, and made the ceremony personal to us. This is a day I will never forget! Everytime we remarry Maureen is the only person allowed to officiate our weddings from now on.

Maureen is amazing!! She created such a meaningful and emotional ceremony for us. She is so caring and really made us feel special on our big day. We wanted a small and short ceremony, and she did just that but really got to know us so she could create the special ceremony we wanted. Maureen even brought her sound system and was a DJ for the ceremony too! She also gave us the ceremony speech as a memory which was such a nice surprise! I couldn't recommend Maureen being an officiant, we truly appreciate you and your kindness.

I can't say enough good about Maureen. She was not only an excellent officiant who worked with us to make our dream ceremony a reality, she was also a lifesaver, always offering gentle reminders and advice if I became to stressed out during the planning. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will do weddings outside my prefered area for an additional charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the bride and groom about the ceremony they would like. Do they have anything they'd like to say to one another? Do they want me to include it in the ceremony I'll read? Have it be a repeat after me part of the ceremony or will they read it from a print or by memory? I will typically send them a few sample ceremonies I think may interest them and once I have a good idea what they like and what they want I will send a first draft ceremony. Once it's finalized I will give them an idea of how long it will take and if they wish we can meet and have a rehearsal with the wedding party.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took several courses online through the Universal Church of life. I got my certificate through that church and then got authorized in the state of Ohio and Michigan to perform weddings. I have also been authorized in other states over time as I was asked to perform weddings in them.
