- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a writer due to the vast amounts of experience in research and writing I have accumulated over the years of being a student. As a humanities major I was always writing either creatively or academically. Previous to this decision, many friends and coworkers were requesting my proofreading, editing and writing services which I would price quote independently. After writing for various people, institutions and for myself, as a marketer for my own photography business, I decided to offer my services beyond photography and into professional writing. I also really enjoy the written word as a source of entertainment, enlightenment and relaxation.

I would advise a customer to look for a provider with a variety of writing experience with an academic background, in addition to professional job experiences.
