Introduction: My work stands out as an instructor because I truly care about helping people become better riders. Riders that can help their horses, not just be passengers. I feel I have the ability to read horses and I will ride students horses so I can feel what they are feeling in order to help them achieve their goals. I also will ride one of my horses at times so I can show students what they are doing and show them how to correct it. My horses are great demonstrators of reacting if I do something incorrect. ; ) Seeing people that couldn't ride at all when they started to progress to the point that they are either very confidently walking, trotting and cantering and in some cases even showing! I also enjoy seeing people with their own horse start learning to train their horse and truly enjoy riding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our board as of January 9, 2013 is $325.00 per month. Turnout is $50.00 per month (this is almost daily, weather provided) * All lessons last at least 1/2 hour but do not extend past 1 hour Lessons for boarders on their own horses is $40.00 Lessons on school horse is $45.00 If I travel to your barn (within 20 minutes distance) $50.00. Anything over (20 minutes distance) will be additional. Training rates vary, so please call, email or on Facebook under Art of Equitation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st time meeting is a bit longer than average lesson. Figure out what they are looking for and what horse they may be best suited for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Taking lots of lessons and clinics. Lots of years of practice riding, showing & training my horses as well as others.
