FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a very reasonable flat rate, first time consultation fee where we will do a walk-through space review, discuss design ideas and discuss next step production and payment plans. I also provide a summary document of the consultation. I can project manage your entire redesign. We work with a team of great tradespeople.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in design from York University, Toronto, Canada; New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD) Diploma in Interior Design; New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD) Award of Merit in Interior Design, Best of Houzz 2017
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had worked in the museum industry for over 18 years as an exhibition designer and project manager. As much as I enjoyed working in team environments, I became frustrated with the slow production progress and structural limitations. I come from a very entrepreneurial family and always wanted to start own my own business. I wanted to do something that was diversely creative and social. Interior Design was an area where I could use my design skills to launch into another visual field. We provide a variety of design services from color consultations to major home renovations in the Northwest Ohio area. We have a wonderful, skilled set of tradespeople who work for us. My goal is to always develop a final design space that not only incorporates my vision but is also a reflection of the client’s tastes and personality.
