Introduction: My name is Kenny Young and I'm a pro Mobile Event DJ with over twenty five years experience. I've spent the greater part of the last 25 years serving the Greater Ohio, West Virginia, parts Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Indiana region. As of the Spring of 2022 I am relocating to North Texas, were I will service Greater DFW, North Texas, East Texas, Southern Oklahoma as well as Northwestern Louisiana. My experience, professionalism, flexibility and affordability are things that I pride myself on. I am a Thumbtack Top Pro (2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015) and two time Best of Thumbtack Award winner (2015 and 2016). Those awards were earned based on my service and reviews. My experience and longevity being a mobile DJ in the area allows me to be extremely knowledgeable as well as versatile. My equipment is top of the line and features a premium sound system consisting of RCF EVOX compact line array speakers, Pioneer DJ Multi-platform Media controller, a massive and diverse music library. Optional compact LED dance lights, up lighting, premium fog machine and/or QSC Subwoofer are also available should you require. There is not much that I haven't seen or done and I'm definitely not afraid to try something new or different. I'm used to travelling throughout my region typically on a weekly basis to provide my clients with the best service around. I currently serve as the Mix-show Co-Coordinator and Host at Upbeat Top-40 Pop WOKE 98.3 Pulse FM in the Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and West Virginia "Tri-State" area. Working with individuals to customize each and every one of their events to suit their wants and needs as I feel no two events are alike.

Kenny was awesome as our wedding DJ...very thorough and early for our meeting at the venue as well as early for the wedding so we were not worried about the music!

I hired DJ Kenny a week before my daughter's Sweet 16 and he came through at the last min and let me say that the party ended up being fabulous!! Kenny was great! He was on time, his setup and take down was quick, and he played a lot of songs on my daughter's playlist and played everything the kids wanted to hear!! Kenny thank you so much, you was GREAT!!! I couldn't have been more pleased with everything..you made the party so much fun!!

Kenneth was great. He was a great value and so easy to work with. I had a 4 hour long playlist that I chose myself. He didn't bat an eye at that. I had another DJ tell me that was near impossible. I highly recommend him.

Kenny was amazing! We had to move our wedding date up and we ended up throwing a wedding together in 2 days! I obviously had to get a dj at late notice and Kenny was there with no hesitation. He was so laid back which made me feel at ease too, and you could tell this was his talent he's been doing for years. Having him there was what made our reception so amazing! He made sure to make it everything we wanted and more! He played music based on what the crowd was enjoying, and we had everyone out of their seats dancing! I couldn't ask for a better DJ to make our night perfect!

Generally my event pricing is generally $150-$200/hr. Depending on location, event type and equipment required. I'm very flexible on the rates.

Speaking with them and listening to what they are wanting/requiring as well as answering any questions they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to several professional DJ music services to ensure my music updated monthly as well as various pro DJ sites and services to keep me updated and offer opinions and advice on the latest equipment and techniques out there. Recently I've started an online radio station that I operate solely around the clock with various programming. I stay involved with industry music reporting releases and trends
