Introduction: I didn't become a roofer on purpose, to be quite honest. I was on summer vacation heading to high school when I was first introduced to the trade. My parents knew a guy who needed help packing shingles on a roof for one dollar a bundle, and I needed money for school clothes. I continued to help him for the next few summers. After I graduated high school, it only made since to follow the field I was experienced in. Fourteen years later, I've seen everything.
