Angela performed a complete rebuild of our site after our server we are using crashed. Once the site was completed we were so impressed at the look and the ease of our use with a new program to edit the site. She listened to what my wants were for the look and she was extremely understanding when I changed my decisions in the appearance of the site. She made the experience fun and personal. She took all of the anxiety of the situation we were in away by diligently working to reconstruct the site. She went the extra mile in helping me through some struggles with bad decisions I made in selecting services that companies talked me into to protect our site and helped to get us out of bad decisions based on scare tactics. We would highly recommend Angela for a great experience in building or rebuilding a web site. She also has great knowledge of marketing technics and is a valuable resource for smart marketing!Apr 5, 2016
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet with a new client, either in person or over the phone/web, to get a sense of who their are, what their needs are and how I can help them. After our meeting, I work up a full proposal and begin work after that is returned and agreed upon. Depending on the project, I usually return a draft within the agreed upon time, and then we work together from their to finalize the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Journalism and Communications, with an emphasis on information design. I spent 8 years working in-house for a multi-million dollar company and learning about every aspect of marketing. Despite being a large company, we were a small department, just myself and the director for a good portion of that time, so I had to become a Jill-of-all-trades. Since then, I have specialized in helping small and medium businesses fulfill their marketing needs.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Think more about the end goal that what you think you need. Sometimes a professional might have a better idea of how to fulfill that need than what you initially envisioned. Keeping an open mind is always helpful. Personally, I will always complete the project that a client hires me for, but if I think there might be a better solution, I always try to offer my opinion so that we can work together to achieve their business goals.
