No, not at all!!! Most DJ's want a set fee for X number of hours. Add $X for EXTRA Hours!!! Add $X for Travel & Set-up!! Add $X for Disco style lighting!!! Add $X for karaoke!!! Add $X for Master of Ceremony duties!!! No, no, and NO!!!! Hire me at ONE LOW RATE and get it ALL! End of story, PERIOD. Those "Add $X " fees often add up to MORE than my full asking fee!

Long, boring story. Suffice it to say, I'm a "people person" who found that taking the DJ biz OUT of the bars & clubs was more personally satisfying. Reiterating: The end of a SUCCESSFUL event is a reward unto itself - that sense of having done a great job, and being profusely thanked for it!
