FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I DO NOT CHARGE FEES for Honeymoons and general vacations; I will collect a refundable Plan-To-Go Deposit which is a “good faith” payment before beginning our planning journey. Once you travel, that deposit will be returned to your original form of payment. This ensures that I am only working with clients who are motivated to plan their trip so I can focus more on your trip and less on “shoppers.” For Destination Wedding planning, I charge a flat rate of $499. This covers your wedding website, planning site and more. I will organize your entire party's’ accommodation, payments, accounting, as well as handle all questions and concerns for your guests making the wedding process stress-free for my couples. Why do I require a deposit and/or fee? There is a difference between travel agents and travel advisors. A travel agent usually sits behind a desk and is a salesperson. As a travel advisor, I spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on travel, education and certifications every year flying to different countries, staying in different resorts, meeting the vendors and learning about properties 3-6 times a year. I do this so I can provide my clients the best service, having firsthand experience of the locations I recommend to them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. First we will schedule an initial consultation. This will be done via website (I will send the link). 2. Consultation will be via phone (or messenger if you prefer) - I ask that Destination Wedding consultations be held with both member of the wedding party via video chat (but not required). This is the FUN part - we will get to know one another well during this time. 3. After we see that we are a good fit, I will send over the Plan-To-Go agreement or Destination Wedding contract. 4. Over the next few days / weeks / months (depending on service), I will work with multiple suppliers to build the perfect itinerary. 5. Once itinerary is agreed upon, a deposit will be placed and payment plan set up. 6. You set off on a trip of your dreams.
