I’m an out of state investor and had some problems with other contractors/handymen being dishonest and unreliable. I’ve reached out to one other handyman on Thumbtack before calling Joe and he was good too but haven’t responded back to me as he’s busy with big projects. I only had a few smaller projects so I went back on Thumbtack and found Joe. Joe is the absolute best- even better than the last guy from thumbtack. Honest, reliable, communicative, super fair prices, attention to detail, punctual and just really one of those trustworthy people which is hard to find in this field these days. I feel so happy and blessed to have found Joe and he is my go to for everything now. He fixed my spigot, showed me pictures of before and after photos and videos. Did a fantastic job. He goes above and beyond and treats your home like it’s his own. I can’t praise him enough. Tomorrow he’s going to fix a couple bad drywall and paint some bad paint job- little details around the trim and do extra things he found as complimentary. He even found issues I wasn’t aware of and said he’ll fix it for me at no cost. Like who does that?! Truly the best and if he lived in CA, I would hire him in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate, Joe will take care of you I promise! Thanks brother for everything you do, I truly appreciate you.

I used Working Hands to renovate my bathroom on our newly purchased home. Joe went above and beyond to give us a beautiful bathroom. He was very professional; went out of his way to explain everything that needed to be done so we had a great game plan and were all on the same page. He also helped keep our project well within budget and quoted us much lower than two other companies we contacted for quote's. We never had to worry about the quality or him not completing the job because he showed up everyday and always communicated with us which we really appreciated. I would 100% recommend using Working Hands for any of your project needs and we would absolutely hire him again for our next home project!

I tried to hire Babylon Construction in February for minor repairs to some baseboards and some window treatments. Communication was good at first.
He spent a few minutes at my home and left to go get some repair parts. He then ghosted me - he said he had something come up and had to go home. He then quoted me $450 for the job, and I had to order all the parts.
I tried to schedule with him the next business day, but did not offer payment at that time. He wanted full payment prior to scheduling/any actual work complete. Never heard back from him. Did the window repairs myself and the baseboard repairs were done by a painter for 1/3 of the price.
