This is not a reflection on his performance as we never received it. After he asked for full payment before date of event he stopped responding and did not show up to contracted event. I informed him I could do a deposit beforehand or pay In full when he arrived for the one hour photo shoot. He stopped responding. He previously had asked for payment via an invoice sent to my email not via thumbtack. In result we had no photographer for our baby’s event and everything felt very unprofessional.

I have asked you for a deposit beforehand just make sure we wore on the same page. This client then stated she didn't feel comfortable with making a deposit before her session. I then respond to my client that I can't not move forward until there a deposited made from you before your session. She then said that she would pay me when I get there, and I did not feel comfortable with Doing this event, which I have explained that to my client.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I did see someone else had a similar issue I did. He sent me an invoice via email for the whole amount rather then a deposit. He said he had to have it for cost and the drive and everything which is understandable but that’s what a deposit is for. I wouldnt give him the full amount of what it would cost before he did any of the work. He could have good intentions but that’s just a little odd and seems like a scam. Every other photographer I have booked took a deposit and I paid them the rest after the shoot while they were still there with me and even tipped after receiving the photos back. This is just unprofessional in my opinion, stay cautious.

My pricing is flexible to meet your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is based on meeting the client where they are. I can provide consultation and free zoom meetings to clarify the project concept beforehand. I can also meet online, understand your needs and deliver amazing portrait photography. I appreciate having meaningful and clear communication so I can serve the moment well. I engage in genuine and authentic professional communication and I expect my clients to be transparent and responsive to my messages as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college for photography. I also have thousands of hours of editing experience with hundreds of hours of in-person photography experience.
