How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in college I needed to pick up some odd jobs in the Summer and within a few weeks I had 11 students! I've continued to teach since then, about 5 years ago.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that any teacher you pick will be flexible with their teaching methods, the biggest complaint I hear from people who quit taking music lessons is that they took lessons from someone who gave them songs to practice that they didn't like, or that their teacher was old or mean. Find someone who works well with you!
